This is the traditional Willie Gunn design which was made legend on the banks of the river Brora in Sutherland, Scotland. A little added flash in the wing has modernised this fly and no serious salmon fisherman should be without supply. One of the longest standing ghilies swears by this fly and does not fish anything else especially in the spring.
