This fly was invented and made famous on the river Helmsdale by expert local guide Andy Sutherland. The Morangie is favoured in cool clear Spring water and we have it tied on a copper tube to get down to fish fast. Fish it anywhere for atlantic salmon especially in the Northern hemisphere. This fly is also proving to be very successful in the Autumn.
